User roles & work flow
Controlling the flow of your content from conception to release is one of the most important requirements for business information: quality of content.
By using a combination of CMS features, you can control and manage the content edited by your users, decide who has rights to what and when to publish.

Assigning user rights & publishing content
Assume your business has 5 employees, a director, a manager and a three employees.

You assign publishing rights to your manager and editorial rights to one of more of the employees. On a daily basis, your employees edit content, they change images and text on pages, update products and other such information. Once finished, the changes are marked as "waiting for approval".

The manager sees there is content waiting for approval, they log in, review the changes and either approve or reject them. If rejected the users can alter the content again, if approved, the manager can publish content to the preview server.

With the content published in preview mode, the manager offers the director a URL to view the completed preview site at, they look and approve the changes and the manager decides to publish the content to the live server ready for public consumption.

That's a typical work flow process in action using our CMS. In addition, for larger websites, you can limit editorial access further by CMS feature and/or navigational/page structure or even by website if you are editing multiple sites in the CMS.

With the abilty to control what gets published by whom, puts you in control of the content being published and in conjucntion with a preview site, gives you that final "near live" experience for testing the site.
