Hosting, XHTML and more
Our content management system comes with all of our hosting features bundled in, plus more besides.
When you choose our CMS package, you're also benefiting from all the features of our email and web hosting kits. Not just that, but all the DNS, MX and backing up options too. We'll also take your designer's files (subject to design guidelines and submission rules) and skin them into XHTML/CSS only templates and create your website structure, all as part of the package price.
If you'd like us to liaise with you and create the design, we can do so at additional and competitive prices, offering initial proofs then a final design.
There's a preview website you can test your site content on first before you publish your changes live to the public. In addition, you can turn on content authoring and set up users as publishers and editors, publishers to confirm content changes by editors for content types like images and text. Adding this work flow process is ideal for larger organisations you require changes to be signed off before going live. Even for a smaller business user, these content management features are useful for tracking changes.
Version control is also in place to record approved changes to content, with the ability to roll-back to a previous version of the page content via the "Version Control" tab.
As for SEO, that's covered too! The data for your website is stored in a database, but when you click publish, the content of your site is exported as static pages offering searching engines a port of jam to buzz around and index with friendly URLs and W3C compliant structure and content.
We also have various CMS plug-ins you can add to the core product, such as fully fledged eCommerce using popular Payment Service Providers (PSPs) like PayPoint (formally SECPay), ProtX, YesPay, NoChex, and PayPal Standard and Pro.
