Whether you want a quick and cheap development route with a custom plug-in for our CMS or a completely customisable solution built from the ground up, we can help you.
Our web development service is generally built around our existing applications, but not always and it depends upon your requirements.
There are two options available:
1. The cheaper route (a plug-in for our CMS)
As an example, imagine you require a website to manage a car dealership, we would create a plug-in for our CMS application to manage your custom data while using the other CMS features to manage standard content and page structure.
We believe using our CMS as the core application and creating your application as a plug-in to that gives you a very strong foundation to start from; a proven application structure and interface that works for lots of other clients and users and so reduces the cost and development time required. It saves time and money to have this structure already built.
If you decide to move away you can take the core CMS application (pre-complied and code locked), data and your plug-in code with you, allowing your future developers the ability to alter the plug-in as per your requirements, while retaining a working copy of the CMS whose code is protected and locked from change.
2. The more expensive route (development from the ground up)
Having something pre-built or locked into our CMS may not appeal to your business needs. You may want control and access to the complete project source code and development files we will create. In this situation more development time is involved in creating a project with specification documents, release and work schedules, development & testing and finally, production releases and handover documents.
We have forged long term relationships with these types of clients in the past and the present and will continue to do so in the future.
We offer various pricing models for this type of development with different tiers of support, documentation and access to our developers. In these cases we can quote you a price upon request with a consultation on your requirements.
With your custom website created, we don't just stop there.
For clients who require a guaranteed development and support packages, we offer monthly retainers which guarantee a certain amount of hours per month for development and support once your site has gone live.
For clients who do not have any development staff or need to outsource an overspill of work, we also take on a certain amount of this type of work and we have been doing this for some time valuing and honouring these relationships between different types of clients.
Generating an income with eBusiness
We define an eBusiness project as any solution which generates revenue, but maybe not directly like our CMS eCommerce plug-in. eBusiness development is geared for the development of tailored made online (maybe offline) solutions based around your own specification.
This may include, but is certainly not limited to, the following examples of work we have had experience of developing in the past:

How we manage your project
With eBusiness applications we tend to quote on your specification, expanding if we see the need to go into more technical information about your project and submit a quote for the work. If accepted, we generally take an intimal payment up front for the work agreeing with you a set of milestones for further phased releases and payments.
Using our tried and tested development method, a project manager will be assigned to your project who will liaise directly with you and our developers.
If you require us to create a design for your project, we can also undertake that using our very experienced web designers.
All development is undertaken on our development server and is "version controlled". Once a milestone has been reached, we will release the partially completed project to our Staging server which emulates a Live environment but without the risk of clients accidentally finding the site. Once you have signed off the milestone, we'll move on to the next one and so on until the project is completed.
Once completed and signed off and we have received your final payment, the site goes live and we offer a standard free support package for a certain number of weeks after launch to allow the site to "bed in". Many of our clients benefit from a long term relationship with us ensuring the same developers who have worked on your project in the past bring that experience to the continuation of your project.
