Our Managed Business services covers every aspect of your online presence.
At Webfibre.net, we offer Managed Business packages, simply put, we manage everything outside of your network to do with your domain, DNS records, mail server, mail accounts, backups, web design, web development, search engine optimisation (SEO) and online content: all from one account with us. This leaves you safe in the knowledge that experts have set up, configured and are managing your online presence.
A typical managed package would include:
Purchasing domains for your website and email for the UK market (co.uk, .org.uk), EU market (.fr, .se, .es, .dk etc) or global specific domains (.com, .net, .org, .info, .biz). We've partnered with many different domain organisations so are able to offer you a broad range of purchasable domain names.
Alternatively, if you have already purchased a domain we can liaise with your existing provider to either perform a full domain transfer (recommended), pointing of your domain to our network or the splitting of the MX and web records between two different providers.
Once registered on our network, you'll benefit from our primary, secondary and tertiary DNS servers. Three mail servers (Primary, Backup and dedicated spam filter servers) and NAS backups of your data across our network.
- E-Mail, Spam and e-mail borne Malware Management
The creation of SPF and Domain Key records. Configuration of spam filtered unique for your business needs from our core optimised filters. Creation and management of POP or IMAP access to the mail boxes on our servers. Support and guidance for using Webmail and Groupware facilities (sharing of Calendars, Tasks, e-mail Address Books and other resources between staff working locally or remotely to your offices on PC's, Laptops or Smart Phones).
If you prefer, we can also hand over or work in conjunction with IT staff in your business for the management and running of your email accounts on our servers.
- Web Design (Design & Content Refresh or New Site)
Consultation and creation of your website from your requirements using existing material/house style or creation of a new look for your business online. There's a structured process to creating and signing off each stage of the design, content and implementation stages of the design process with design proofs and content sign off's.
- Web Development & Post Release Support
If you choose one of our customised web development packages, as with the design phase, we'll agree project milestones with clear and definitive sign off points during the development life cycle of the project. We use a structured development process which includes a project manager liaising with you on the consultation and creation of the specification documents, farming of any content required for the web site, time management and release schedule for the web site.
Post release, we'll also manage and monitor the web application on our servers or change of scope (CoS) requirements for the web site.
If you prefer, and you have the required skilled staff in your business, we can give you access to the web site to managed this aspect yourself.
The creation and/or copying of your content into web format for presentation to your customers. We can do this on a per request basis of you can take control of this process yourself by using our
content management system (CMS).

- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Whether you use our content management system or we design a site for you using standard design/development processes, we will inherently make your site SEO friendly so that the likes of Google, Yahoo, MSN and other search engines can find your site. We utilise all the official "good design guidelines" for making your site indexable, with clean HTML development and layout with text-rich pages and images.
We do not use hacks and cheats to get your ranking higher, these are always counter-productive to your website in the long run and will even get you expelled from the search results (

example 3). Don't believe any of the "we'll get you in the top 10 list of Google", the streets are not always paved with gold nor does the Emperor's clothes remain in fashion for long.
If you have a new website, the best practice is patience and promotion. If you site already exists and is ranked in Google, we'll do out utmost to ensure we retain the original site structure as closely as possible and where it differs, use correct and legal 301 redirects to indicate permanently moved content to a new location.
Once your package is setup, we offer free technical support via e-mail, phone or our online support centre that covers any of our packages. Unfortunately we cannot support any non-Webfibre applications or services installed in your business.
