Case Study: Network75
Network75 approached Webfibre with the aim to update their existing website to match their new marketing material. Using our CMS and hosting services, we're proud to announce the relaunch of their website.
Client

Educational student placements and the creation of an innovative student attendance system.

Project

A recent re-branding of the business and all associated marketing material was under way. They required their website to follow the same style and format to be launched at the same as their printed material.

Solution - Content Management System

Our first step was to liaise their existing designers and gain their knowledge and experience on the current design methodology for the re-branding process.

Once we had integrated ourselves to their way of thinking we set our designers the task of creating three "proof" concepts for the client based on the evidence gained from the re-branding research. It's important to remember that not all traditional print methodologies transfer well to a website, our designers kept as closely to the original design specification as possible while retaining web standards.

Once the client had agreed on a concept, and they had farmed all the content required for the website, we set out creating the XHTML CSS templates for use in our CMS.

As there were not many pages in the overall site structure, the end result was 6 templates for use with over 15 pages. In addition there is a second website (Uni Nanny) which is also managed via the CMS allowing our client the ability to keep both sites updated from the same location.

A feature that was not present in the original specification, is the newsletter sign up on the home page of the Network75 website. Using our form control for the CMS, we easily added this feature including the CAPTCHA image which is automatically generated each time the page is hit.

The Network75 home page.
The Network75 home page shows their latest news powered by a standard CMS list as well as Newsletter sign up from protected by a CAPTCHA code.
The Uni Nanny home page.
Retaining the house style of Network75's printed material was a requirement for this project. For the second site, Uni Nanny, we also maintained the overall look and feel to keep consistency.
YouTube videos embedded into the CMS template.
Network75 also had a range of videos hosted on their own YouTube channel which we included in their templates.
